Nicknamed “the Bells” because of their shape, Maroon Peak and North Maroon Peak are 14,000+ ft peaks near Aspen, Colorado. This spot is particularly special to me because it’s the starting point of the first backpacking trip my sister and I did together back in 2017, the Four Pass Loop. We didn’t know what we were in for at the time, but the challenge was so worth it!
